INSERT-MEAT-TYPE-HERE Curry Potjiekos


Ingredients 

2 lb INSERT-MEAT-TYPE-HERE
2 T oil
1 onions, chopped
3 - 6 cloves garlic, crushed
2 - 3 inches ginger, crushed
1 cup water
1 lb whole baby potatoes
1 Tbsp curry powder
2 tsp turmeric
salt & pepper


Method 

Heat the oil in the pot
Brown the meat a bit at a time
Remove meat from pot and set aside
Fry onions, ginger and garlic until tender
Add back the meat
Add potatoes, curry powder, turmeric and water
Add salt and pepper to taste
Cover and simmer for approximately 90 minutes
