Bloody hell is Ruby on Rails development on Windows an exercise in chasing through search engines.
"database configuration does not specify adapter" error with PG gem in Rails 3.2
- Check for any anomalous whitespace in the .yml file
- That there is a .yml file for your database setup in the first place
- That it points to the correct database configuration environment. At least development.
