Totaling:
- 18 adults:
- 1 vegetarian
- 17 omnivores
- 7 kids
- 100 USD per YVR employee + Fred
- Robert doesn't count toward this
- Matt and Trent don't count toward this (they've already used their $100)
- Kevin has volunteered to lend his $100
- So 9 people x $100 (USD) ~= $1075
The overall plan:
- Matt proposed ordering from food.ee
- Get beer from the liquor store
- Snacks / non-alcoholic drinks from Costco
- Dessert: a couple dozen donuts from Cartems
Note that if we order through food.ee, most places have a $40 minimum order, so we should probably minimize the number of places we order from. If ordering pizza for the kids, it might be easier to just order directly as a result.
Initial suggestions:
- Order a couple of pizzas from Hell Pizza for the smaller kids (Trent, Orlando: input here would be appreciated)
- An assortment of sausage plates from Bestie, plus some pretzels
- Some combination of curries, roti, salads from Calabash
Alternative: just let everyone pick something from food.ee, plus some communal appetizers and salads. That way everyone can have what they want.
