For Mac 4.2.6 unlimited trial.md

for 4.2.4 or higher, 4.2.5,4.2.6,4.3.7, it's works, this is the way which makes Always in evaluation mode.

  1. open Terminal, go to the dir : cd /Applications/Beyond Compare.app/Contents/MacOS
  2. change the name BCompare to BCompare.bak: mv BCompare BCompare.bak
  3. touch a file name BCompare , and chmod a+u BCompare : touch BCompare && chmod a+u BCompare
  4. open BCompare with text editor, insert the script :

rm "/Users/$(whoami)/Library/Application Support/Beyond Compare/registry.dat"
"`dirname "$0"`"/BCompare.bak $@
  1. restart bc .

First delete away trial mode:

sudo rm -rf ~/.config/bcompare #thinks bensonkb

rm “/Users/$(whoami)/Library/Application Support/Beyond Compare/registry.dat”

sorry i have't macos event hackintosh. you can try, and report back if it's working.

Please clean install before run thats script.

1.Enter regedit in the search bar to open the registry
2.Delete project: computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Scooter Software\Beyond Compare 4\CacheId

works for me

Was a happy user since past 2 years.
But this happened today for me on (windows) version 4.2.2.
Note : Never updated it.

just buy original license or reset trial mode.

it's not usefull, but it's work. it's clear history of your compare yesterday. I never use this again.

Do not download any file from this git section. If someone want to continue my work and find more offset, you are welcome, but stop spamming RAR containing virus. None in 2023 is so wimpy. I also bet 100 euros these guys are from scooter software.
