For Mac 4.2.6 unlimited trial.md

for 4.2.4 or higher, 4.2.5,4.2.6,4.3.7, it's works, this is the way which makes Always in evaluation mode.

  1. open Terminal, go to the dir : cd /Applications/Beyond Compare.app/Contents/MacOS
  2. change the name BCompare to BCompare.bak: mv BCompare BCompare.bak
  3. touch a file name BCompare , and chmod a+ux BCompare : touch BCompare && chmod a+ux BCompare
  4. open BCompare with text editor, insert the script :

  1. restart bc .

For Fedora users the sed command shuld be executed into /usr/lib64/beyondcompare/BCompare directory.

why linux user using beyond compare its wierid.

I use bat to run the portable 5 version with a trial reset

rem del %programdata%\Scooter Software\Beyond Compare 5\BCState.xml
rem del %programdata%\Scooter Software\Beyond Compare 5\BCState.xml.bak
del %cd%\BCState.xml
del %cd%\BCState.xml.bak
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Scooter Software\Beyond Compare 5" /v "CacheID" /f
start BCompare.exe
pause

You can remove the pause, used it as a schoolboy for debug.
The lines for the installed version are commented.
All taken from this resource.
tested and working

why using BeyondCompare crack if you are in *nix family? there are alot of alternative. i'm using it'before.

Before known beyondcompare, i'm in *nix family, i'm using LinuxLite, by default explorer (I forgot, cz my office using Original Windows now), i forgot the name, can do like beyondcompare.
