1) Create a branch with the tag
	git branch {tagname}-branch {tagname}
	git checkout {tagname}-branch

2) Include the fix manually if it's just a change .... 
	git add .
	git ci -m "Fix included"
    or cherry-pick the commit, whatever is easier
	git cherry-pick  {num_commit}

Scripted Jenkins Plugins install

Jenkins has a very rich catalog of plugins and it's quite easy to install and update them via UI. BTW, when you want to add tons of plugin via UI, it's a fairly long and boring procedure.

Hopefully, mass installation (or update) could be easy using a simple bash script (curl/python required) :

To remove a submodule you need to:

• Delete the relevant section from the .gitmodules file.
• Stage the .gitmodules changes git add .gitmodules
• Delete the relevant section from .git/config.
• Run git rm --cached path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
• Run rm -rf .git/modules/path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
• Commit git commit -m "Removed submodule "
• Delete the now untracked submodule files rm -rf path_to_submodule
