My evolving online reading list and recommendations. Great sites, one-off articles, and more.
Starting a business is like roaming in a fog: you often feel like you have no idea where exactly you are going or what to do next. What seemed simple turns into weeks-long research, with dozens of opened browser tabs full of jargon, self-promotion and contradictory advice. It would be nice to have some kind of a map.
Mr. Money Moustache is the alias for Pete Adeney, a software engineer who retired at age 30 through to some hardcore frugal-ness. He now runs a blog with a cult following helping people learn how to plan for early retirement. He's pretty hardcore, but it's fun and inspiring to read the philosophy. A lot could be applied to anyone's day-to-day life to help save and be more financially secure.

Including one specific article link here would be doing you a disservice, because there are a lot of gems on Wait But Why. The site is basically a collection of giant explainer articles by author Tim Urban, on everything from an EPIC 4-part series about Space X, Tesla, and Elon Musk's plan for Mars colonization to understanding The Fermi Paradox and much more. They're engaging long reads that peel back the layers of some big questions and break them into digestable pieces.
Simple link sharing backed by an engaged, highly technical community. Awesome articles every day.
An online magazine for in-depth articles and stories. Usually they have some focus in science, but include philosophy, technology, health, social issues, fiction, and more.
