- Log in to

directly using an ethernet cable - Default user and password on a new box is
admin
andadmin
- If your Internet provider's router is using the same address, go to
Advanced
>Network
>LAN
and change your ip address - Go to
Advanced
>DHCP
>DHCP Settings
and disable the DHCP server- Ignore other settings unless the default gateway (provider's router) is not correct, then just change that
- Change SSID names and passwords to match the main provider
- Change the default user and password in
Advanced
>System Tools
>Password
- Connect a cable from your C8 LAN PORT to your Internet provider's Router.
- There should not be a cable connected to the WAN PORT when your using the C8 as an Access Point.

could not do it. almost every change i made, Archer C8 force me to reboot without the other steps been saved. so, if i disabled DHCP and change gateway to match provider, it reboot but IP of Archer C8 does not match the router provider LAN. also, after that, can't get into Archer C8 panel
tests different combinations and always happened to me the same
