Secret of Monkey Island: Amsterdam (by @levelsio) or how to create your own ChatGPT image+text-based adventure game
# 2023-11-27 MIT LICENSE
Here's the open source version of my ChatGPT game MonkeyIslandAmsterdam.com.
It's an unofficial image+text-based adventure game edition of Monkey Island in Amsterdam, my home town.
Please use it however you want. It'd be nice to see more ChatGPT-based games appear from this. If you get inspired by it, please link back to my X https://x.com/levelsio or this Gist so more people can do the same!
Send me your ChatGPT text adventure game on X, I'd love to try it!

Big list of http static server one-liners

Each of these commands will run an ad hoc http static server in your current (or specified) directory, available at http://localhost:8000. Use this power wisely.

Discussion on reddit.

Sister Document - Backup MySQL to Amazon S3 - read that first

1 - Set your MySQL password and S3 bucket, make a temp dir, get a list of snapshots

# Set our variables

export mysqlpass="ROOTPASSWORD"

Backup MySQL to Amazon S3

This is a simple way to backup your MySQL tables to Amazon S3 for a nightly backup - this is all to be done on your server :-)

Sister Document - Restore MySQL from Amazon S3 - read that next

1 - Install s3cmd

this is for Centos 5.6, see http://s3tools.org/repositories for other systems like ubuntu etc

# This is a short collection of tools that are useful for managing your
# known_hosts file. In this case, I'm using the '-f' flag to specify the
# global known_hosts file because I'll be adding many deploy users on this
# system. Simply omit the -f flag to operate on ~/.ssh/known_hosts
# Add entry for host
ssh-keyscan -H github.com > /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts
# Scan known hosts
ssh-keygen -f /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts -H -F github.com
