in putty setup a new session
under Host Name (or IP address): type ubuntu@<ip-address>

I installed ubuntu 15.04

You need two USB drives:

1. USB-drive-A [installer] (at least USB 2.0, USB 3.0 is is also ok)

 - 4.0 Gb + capacity
