Requirements:
You need two USB drives:
1. USB-drive-A [installer] (at least USB 2.0, USB 3.0 is is also ok)
- 4.0 Gb + capacity
2. USB-drive-B [system, boot] USB 3.0
- large capacity ~ 128 Gb
* Note about USB manufacturers. Some drive by default can not be used to boot. Find ones that are bootable!
In Windows:
Download and install http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/
Download ubuntu desktop iso image for 15.04 from: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop
Insert USB-drive-A [installer]. Run universal USB installer:
- select Ubuntu 64-bit linux
- select your local ubuntu 64 iso file
- select USB-drive-A [installer]
- click format
- RUN
Now you have created a bootable usb installer with this program!
[Note you need to check to see if your bios can boot from USB first].
Now boot your system from the new USB 3.0 drive USB-drive-B [system, boot].
Ready to work.
