Some tools for icon font

So, some tools that might help with icon fonts:

  1. Build fonts from existing glyphs:
IcoMoon — meta-resource, using font-awesome & other fonts, either publicly available or purchasable
    flaticon

  2. Build fonts from your own images online, but needs editing special template:
    IconVault

  3. Something in between:
    Fontastic

  4. Build your own font on your local machine: sketch + fontcustom + middleman to create your own font
    Inkscape (a bit outdated)
    Grunt
There’re also a lot of known bundles of vector icons that can be utilized to create custom fonts

  5. There’re also specific fonts if you’re going to dig long enough, like mapglyphs.
