A repeating GCD timer that can run on a background queue
/// RepeatingTimer mimics the API of DispatchSourceTimer but in a way that prevents
/// crashes that occur from calling resume multiple times on a timer that is
/// already resumed (noted by https://github.com/SiftScience/sift-ios/issues/52
class RepeatingTimer {

Static Site Generators

Backstory: I decided to crowdsource static site generator recommendations, so the following are actual real world suggested-to-me results. I then took those and sorted them by language/server and, just for a decent relative metric, their Github Watcher count. If you want a heap of other projects (including other languages like Haskell and Python) Nanoc has the mother of all site generator lists. If you recommend another one, by all means add a comment.

Launch Sublime Text 2 from the Mac OS X Terminal

Sublime Text 2 ships with a CLI called subl (why not "sublime", go figure). This utility is hidden in the following folder (assuming you installed Sublime in /Applications like normal folk. If this following line opens Sublime Text for you, then bingo, you're ready.

open /Applications/Sublime\ Text\ 2.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl

You can find more (official) details about subl here: http://www.sublimetext.com/docs/2/osx_command_line.html
