New folders in Kitsunekko mega (first link) dont work for me. It says "undecrypted folder. This shared folder can't be decrypted. Contact the person who shared it with you and them to unshare and share it again". Could you please look at this problem?

It says "undecrypted folder.

Yes, I've encountered this problem before. I don't know how to fix it, unfortunately. I use megacopy to sync my local kitsunekko folder with Mega, and sometimes it produces this error. Maybe I should move the folder to Yandex disk like the rest of our stuff. But then people won't be able to use megadl to sync their folders.

You can actually just download the entire kitsunekko website yourself with this tool that we made at Ajatt-Tools.

Folks... you won't find subtitles available for any given anime or movie, there is good chance that subtitles for the show you're looking very hard for don't even exist on the web, after all there's very little demand for Japanese subtitles, asking here would help you little, just take that opportunity to practice your hearing comprehension, leave your comfort zone so to say, or try that subtitle generation through AI thing but it won't be accurate, needless to say.

Yeah GIDDATRATIYO is right lol. I've decided I am indeed spending too much time looking for subtitles that just aren't out there...

But I actually did go ahead and try using a standalone version of OpenAI's Whisper (https://github.com/Purfview/whisper-standalone-win) to make subtitles and it's surprisingly accurate with the "medium" model. I have a mid-range GPU from four years ago and it only took about seven minutes to transcribe a 20-minute anime episode. You still gotta keep your ears open to make sure what you're reading is accurate, but personally it's already making picking up new words a lot easier.
