Using Raspberry Pi Camera with ffmpeg

Capturing video from the rpi camera with ffmpeg can vary from less than 5% to 100% of the CPU (rpi zero) depending on ffmpeg using the hardware acceleration or not.

On many github issues one finds the suggestion of using h264_omx codec to use the gpu - but it does not ship with the default ffmpeg on Raspbian.

Instead I found that one can use the v4l2 driver provided by raspbian to get hardware accelerated h264 output. Also setting the video size will save one from using a (cpu) scale filter.

Your problem with Vim is that you don't grok vi.

You mention cutting with yy and complain that you almost never want to cut whole lines. In fact programmers, editing source code, very often want to work on whole lines, ranges of lines and blocks of code. However, yy is only one of many way to yank text into the anonymous copy buffer (or "register" as it's called in vi).

The "Zen" of vi is that you're speaking a language. The initial y is a verb. The statement yy is a simple statement which is, essentially, an abbreviation for 0 y$:

0 go to the beginning of this line. y yank from here (up to where?)

OpenSuSE MicroOS Linux - Unlock PIN Yubikey BIO FIDO USB Key

If your FIDO Key gots locked, because the fingerprint was not OK, then its quite easy to unlock the Yubikey FIDO BIO USB Key (if you know it!)

For me, only reset was possible over GUI with yubikey-manager, so the unlock requires shell command!

Install the yubikey-manager package:

This is my current (as of 4/30/2020) Yabai and skhdrc config as well as the Ubersicht (http://tracesof.net/uebersicht/) widget I use rather than the Yabai status bar. I went this route rather than the built-in status bar because I didn't like how Yabai as of 2.0.1 handled multiple monitors in the status bar.

Nothing is too far from defaults here, and the spaces.coffee was something I found linked in an issue on Yabai's github page.
