ZombieWriter

ZombieWriter is an open-source Ruby gem that generates short news articles based on rearranging the order of user-provided paragraphs. Provides proper citation (in the form of a hyperlink) to the original sources of these paragraphs. Users can specify whether they want to use "machine learning" (Latent Semantic Analysis and K-Means Clustering) or "randomization" when generating news articles.

Friend Computer

Friend Computer is a program that can write blog posts. It retrieves information from Twitter and analyzes it using Alchemy API, and then writes a blog post based on its analysis. I was the sole person working on Friend Computer. The website was built on Sinatra (a Ruby framework).
