backup for conversations account data

When creating an accoutn in conversations the account data often is nor well remebered and some servers do not provide the option to retrieve the missing information. This worked today for two people that wanted to replace the f-droid version by the one from play store and reuse their accounts after the fresh installation.

Mikroformate & Schemata

Sind nichts anderes als eine Implementierung für das Semantische Web. Maschinen sollen Inhalte verstehen können, das heißt hier primär ein-/zuordnen. Z.B. eine Adresse auf einer Website zu einer Person, Firma oder Organisation.

Zuerst gab es Mikroformate, dann schema.org. Letztere werden von Google unterstützt und haben daher i.d.R. eine größere Bedeutung. Aber im Grunde ist das Prinzip sehr ähnlich.

HTML ist ziemlich einfaches XML. Die Namen sind leider nicht unbedingt sprechend. Unsere erweiterte Auszeichnung der Elemente (der eigentliche Inhalt, atomar) durch weitere Tags (das in den Spitzen Kalmmern; Bsp. Paragraphen (dt. Absätze, hat hier nichts mit Gesetzen zu tun) eines Textes werden <p>Paragrahpen-Text</p> ausgezeichnet), Attribute (Eigenschaften-Name gleich nach dem öffnenden Tag, vor dem =) und Attribut-Werte (Wert der Eigenschaft, nach dem =) machen das etwas besser.

a projected combination as discussions on forums vs mailing lists arise and divide groups

FML - Forum Mailing List

This is the result of a short thought after the Open Knowledge group discussed whether forums or mailing lists are the way to go for our communication.

Naturally the developers like more the ml approach and people dedicated t interfaces for end users like forums much more.

For me there is not much difference between both solutions as I regard it in means of presentation and accessibility rather than content. Of course the technology used also differs, but the main actions of participants are very much the same.
