How to add the libera.chat network to irssi

Just registered to Libera.Chat. The third step (/connect libera) did connect, but I was disconnected immediately due to not being authenticated (as I was not registered). So I was not able to register with these instruction, nor was I able to find instructions that would have worked with irssi. Finally I found these instructions on how to register via https://web.libera.chat/
Basically, I did the /query NickServ, register and copy-paste verification command steps from email on web chat and the rest on irssi.
Nowadays, you need to use -tls instead of -ssl.

Changed to use SASL when connecting instead of sending password to NickServ. See older revisions for NickServ method.
