• Version of formatted by Windows Server 2012.
• Version 1.1 is used already in Windows Server 8 Beta. I have never seen version 1.0.
• Can use and store alternate data streams, when mount on 8.1/2012 R2 or later.

ReFS 1.2

• Version of formatted by Windows 8.1, Windows 10 v1507 to v1607, Windows Server 2012 R2, and when specified ReFSv1 on Windows Server 2016 or later.
• Cannot use alternate data streams, when mount on 2012.

Updating a HP(E) server from iLO 3 version 1.55 to version 1.94

This short document explain how to resolve the issues arising when trying to update an old (Gen7) HP(E) server to the most recent iLO 3 (HPE Integrated Lights-Out) version, which solves a great number of security and usability issues.

Issues

• Can't connect to iLO with a modern browser, for lack of supported TLS protocol version
  • solved by using FirefoxPortable version 31
  • and in the Firefox31 portable configuration, in the about:config settings, set security.tls.version.min (the minimum acceptable version of the TLS protocol) to 0 in order to be able to negociate down to TLS 1.0 (even if iLO 3 can do 1.1). Keep in mind your browser is now (even more) vulnerable to a host of attacks, do not connect to any potentially hostile host with it.

iLO Remote Console

This small script lets you start iLO Java-based console from shell.

But why not HTML5?

• iLO 2/3 doesn't have HTML5 console
• Mounting local (from the client computer) ISOs is PAINFULLY slow via HTML5 client

This ad-blocker script for Tampermonkey won't trigger an adblock-block / adblock-detector script and so you could use it for pages that are annoying you with "please turn of your adblock" messages. It's just hiding the ads and don't try to intercept the requests or remove the ads at all. So it don't make the websites faster, but it makes them cleaner and easier to read.

This script is not a generic solution and has to be configured for every website it should clean up. I don't provide configs for pages, just use your browser developer-tools to find the elements you want remove or click.
