Hey everyone, I'm Kevin.

Yes I know that I'm new to SO and SOCVR, but I think that I'm a good reviewer. The reason that I want to be a RO just because I want to help more, I like SOCVR.

And I think that I can handle everything (if I could) which happened during UTC 0 AM - UTC 10 AM. Because I'm from China/Asia, It's day to me (but night to most of the other members and ROs).

Also I'm happy to guide others who's new to SOCVR, and I think I can do it better as a RO.

If there was one rule in our current FAQ that needs to be removed, which one would it be? If you can add one rule, that isn't currently in our guidance, which one would it be?

How easy do you find it to discern if/when social activity (excessive trains, etc.) is getting out of hand?

What's your point of view on off-topic rooms such as the Ministry?
What do you think about monitoring them to check that nothing gets out of hand which could then be used against SOCVR? Examples could include bad mouthing of users, clear disagreement with room / SO policies, unicorn abuse...

@rschrieken I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. Because:

I think our FAQ is a guide to our new members and it's the general rules of our room, so we shouldn't change it, if there's no problem about it. But I can't see any problems about it now.

@ArcticEcho Well, if the members are all playing the social activity and ignoring the [cv-pls] requests or questions about moderation/SOCVR, then I'd say it's getting out of hand.
My point is: If our members are not working because a social activity, it's getting out of hand and we should try to stop it.

Then, I'd tell others please stop. If really needed, I'd trash some messages (but not getting the members unhappy).

Do you think you have what it takes to face up to the future challenge this room will meet? Can you give an example of Meta contributions, for example, where you applied moderation?

How do you feel about diamond moderators frequenting the room?

@joncle I think it's good right? Moderators working with the Community™.

So we're a group of reviewers who want to help our community, keep it clear and make it better. But we're still normal users, which means we don't have the power of diamond moderators, and sometimes we really need it.

We also make some mistakes sometimes, so if we can't solve them, we can just ask the moderators. I mean this:

Moderators are human exception handlers, there to deal with those exceptional conditions that could otherwise disrupt the community.

Anyway, moderators have more power than other users. But where to use the power ? A room about moderation? I think that's perfect.

What is your stance on this What exactly is “artificial inflation of reputation”, and where is the line? with reference to the situation in the room?

@YvetteC (just read the Q/A there again)

Well, I think that it's fine. Something like:

It is trash for me. But if I give it to you, you can help and do more.

But yeah...as Shog said, it could be a fraud. So if it's allowed then others would use it to do some evil stuff, as a group of reviewers, we better don't do it.

I don't think that this accident is Jarrod Roberson's fault, nor the Community's fault. Jarrod Roberson was trying to help, and the Community was just trying to avoid the frauds.

It's sad that this happened in SOCVR, and I think Tiny Giant has handled it correctly.

@Aralun Hmm...I think we do have to monitoring some rooms if the members there are talking about some evil plans...but the problem is: Do we have to monitoring every room?

As a RO, I don't think that...something like I better write a bot and watch every room to find if there's any evil stuff. But if I found / got invited to an off-topic room , sure I'll stay and monitoring that room.

As a member, I'd report if there's any evil stuff in other off-topic rooms to RO: Ask them for monitoring and do something. (if really needed)

But really, no-one would abuse these cute unicorns. Right?
