Example of how to use the streaming feature of the iOS MultipeerConnectivity framework

For this Gist, we have two sides: sender and receiver. The same user can be a sender and a receiver, but I will separate this
two roles to be more clear.
This gist assumes thatyou already have a MCSession created, and the peers are connected,

iOS Core Animation: Advanced Techniques, Part 1: The Layer Beneath

Author: https://www.cyanhall.com/

1. The Layer Tree

Core Animation's original name is Layer Kit

Core Animation is a compositing engine; its job is to compose different pieces of visual content on the screen, and to do so as fast as possible. The content in question is divided into individual layers stored in a hierarchy known as the layer tree. This tree forms the underpinning for all of UIKit, and for everything that you see on the screen in an iOS application.

In UIView, tasks such as rendering, layout and animation are all managed by a Core Animation class called CALayer. The only major feature of UIView that isn’t handled by CALayer is user interaction.

There are four hierarchies, each performing a different role:

Who said you can't do padding in Titanium (Alloy)?
"#wrapper": {
// Set wrapper to adjust it's size to it's contents
width: Ti.UI.SIZE,
height: Ti.UI.SIZE,
// Set stuff like borders and backgrounds on the wrapper
backgroundColor: "red"
}

On undoing, fixing, or removing commits in git

A git choose-your-own-adventure!

This document is an attempt to be a fairly comprehensive guide to recovering from what you did not mean to do when using git. It isn't that git is so complicated that you need a large document to take care or your particular problem, it is more that the set of things that you might have done is so large that different techniques are needed depending on exactly what you have done and what you want to have happen.
