iLO Remote Console

This small script lets you start iLO Java-based console from shell.

But why not HTML5?

  • iLO 2/3 doesn't have HTML5 console
  • Mounting local (from the client computer) ISOs is PAINFULLY slow via HTML5 client

If you just start it, it will ask you for everything:

Some OVH dedicated server does not supports installing Debian original kernel due to hardware support issue. Also new Supermicro Atom 3000 SOC based products need an updated driver on ubuntu 14.04/16.04/17.04 to recognize the network adapter.

Most common issue is the network adapter card.

Disclaimer

  • MSR modification may void your CPU's (or system board's) warranty. Proceed with care. I'm not responsible for any destruction caused by this article.
  • MSR address (greatly) differs from CPU to CPU. Check your own CPU's MSR address using Intel's documentation.
  • Only tested on Intel i7-8550U (Kaby Lake R).

Общие упрощенные понятия. Возможно существуют способы задать другое поведение нежели данное упощенное.

Понятия

  • producer - отправитель, программный код, который отправляет сообщение.
  • consumer - получатель, программный код, который должен получить сообшение.
  • exchange - обменник, функционал RabbitMQ, получает сообщение с заданными параметрами от отправителя и:
    • может сбросить(удалить) сообщение или вернуть отправителю (зависит от атрибутов сообщения),
    • может отправить сообщение в очередь,
    • может отправить сообщение в несколько очередей (сообщение будет скопировано для каждой очереди)
  • queue - очередь, функционал RabbitMQ, хранит все сообщения и раздает их получателям.
  • message - сообщение, содержит атрибуты необходимые RabbitMQ, а также данные для передачи от отправителя к получателю
