Dev Of Future is an Open source community where programmers share ideas and help each other grow. Because we know it takes a village to raise a coder, we create our virtual village for sharing and discovering great ideas, having debates, and making friends. Anyone can share articles, questions, discussions, etc. Connecting developers, and anyone who wants to learn and share his knowledge with other : that's our mission. We also provide access to the best learning resources from around the world.
At Dev Of Future, we connect people who have knowledge to people who need it, to bring together people with different perspectives so they can understand each other better, and to empower everyone to share their knowledge for the benefit of the rest of the world.
The community is in fact made of passionate developers sharing same ideas and who want to conquert the world with their works. Providing easy access to information: We are empowering the community with the best resources (contests, tutorials, blogs, etc.) from anywhere on the internet that is easy to find and discover. We are building tools to help people discover, share, teach each other.
Because we care about our developers and wannabe, we provide mentoring for people who need direct assistance. We connect you with a mentor from the community and with him you'll schedule the rest at then the magic will happen !
Dev Of Future was created in the middle of 2016 to connect more developers and designers to an ever expanding network to foster software development excellence.
The community members are always open to helping others with the skills and knowledge they have gained over the years. As a new designer/developer, you can tap into this robust knowledge base to become better at what you do and earn more in the process.

How we bring communities together
In the process of building an online community, at the beginning it can be fun, but arrived at a certain stage it can become unamazing anymore - Because people will not be finding the interest, or what they're earning from the community. In fact getting people to a community is quite simple, but keeping them there (motivation) is hard. To be good at what you do, you need to practice, and at DOF we understood that and it's why we matche remote teams to software projects. We sort projects by different levels, from Beginner to Expert developers have the latitude to chose what level of project they want to work on. Based also on their skills set, developers may chose projects on which they can work on. By chosing a project on which to work on, you join other developers who are already in and get in touch with them easily ! We build world class products, together with technology and top talent from a network of developers and designers in Africa. Whenever there is a call for help or a need to build a solution, members work together as a team.
Close to our hearts, is a mission to connect a generation of knowledge workers to opportunity. We’re creating a true digital economy, starting with software development.

Joining process
Joining us is really straightfoward. First visit our site https://devoffuture.org and register. You can either register as a developer or as an NGO. If you register as a Developer you should provide your skill set, and before joining there'll be a small test for letting you get started.
