Sourdough Waffles v0.1 | |
====================== | |
Yields about 10 waffles on my Krups 2 slice belgian wafflemaker | |
Ingrediants | |
----------- | |
- 500g of active starter (built up overnight, 100% hydration) | |
- 1.5 tbsp veg oil | |
- 2 eggs | |
- 1 tsp baking soda | |
- .5 tsp salt | |
Instructions: | |
------------- | |
1. allow your waffle iron to warm | |
2. beat eggs and vegetable oil | |
3. combine starter, baking soda, salt in a second large mixing bowl | |
4. fold in egg mixture | |
5. allow batter to rest for a few minutes | |
6. if nessecary spray a light coating of oil on iron, then cook in batches till golden brown | |
Notes: | |
------ | |
If your starter is of a different hydration, it works best to adjust it when building it up overnight, you can add flour or water at cook time, but YMMV |
