What forces layout / reflow

All of the below properties or methods, when requested/called in JavaScript, will trigger the browser to synchronously calculate the style and layout*. This is also called reflow or layout thrashing, and is common performance bottleneck.

Generally, all APIs that synchronously provide layout metrics will trigger forced reflow / layout. Read on for additional cases and details.

• Ссылки нажимаются с задержкой (примерно 300ms). Решается подпиской на событие touchstart и принудительной инициализацией события click после него. Если проблема всё равно возникает - ничего не поделать, надо облегчать dom. Nginx FastCGI response buffer sizes

By default when Nginx starts receiving a response from a FastCGI backend (such as PHP-FPM) it will buffer the response in memory before delivering it to the client. Any response larger than the set buffer size is saved to a temporary file on disk.

Как установить и настроить сфинкс.

Скачиваем сфинкс (берем версию с MySQL и со стеммингом на 15 языков Win32 binaries w/MySQL+PgSQL+libstemmer+id64 support соответствующую битности твоей ОС), распаковываем например в d:\temp\s\

На этом установка sphinx завершена. В дебиане просто делаем sudo apt-get install sphinxsearch.

Создаем таблицы:

NGINX Tuning For Best Performance

For this configuration you can use web server you like, i decided, because i work mostly with it to use nginx.

Generally, properly configured nginx can handle up to 400K to 500K requests per second (clustered), most what i saw is 50K to 80K (non-clustered) requests per second and 30% CPU load, course, this was 2 x Intel Xeon with HyperThreading enabled, but it can work without problem on slower machines.

You must understand that this config is used in testing environment and not in production so you will need to find a way to implement most of those features best possible for your servers.
