    Booting Debian from a RAM disk

This guide is adapted from http://reboot.pro/topic/14547-linux-load-your-root-partition-to-ram-and-boot-it/
What you need:

lots of RAM
Debian based distribution or any that supports booting from initramfs
mkinitramfs or a tool to build a new initramfs
some linux knowledge
no need to create an image
no need for Grub4Dos

## Python3, Pip3, Virtualenv and Virtualenvwrapper Setup
First install pip for Python2. Download the get-pip.py file from https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py
$ cd <download location>
$ sudo -H python ./get-pip.py

Installing pip also installs Python3
To run Python3
$ python3

Install pip3 by just executing the same file as in the step above, but this time using Python3
$ sudo -H python3 ./get-pip.py

Add the RPMFusion repositories (both free and non-free) to the YUM repository directory  (/etc/yum.repos.d/):

sudo dnf localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm

Install the patched version of FreeType with subpixel rendering enabled:

sudo dnf install -y freetype-freeworld
