After too many years of tinkering my machine is a bit all over. With Mojave High Sierra Montery I wanted to start fresh
Make sure everything is up to date.

- apache's home directory is /var/www/
Sublime Text 2 ships with a CLI called subl (why not "sublime", go figure). This utility is hidden in the following folder (assuming you installed Sublime in /Applications
like normal folk. If this following line opens Sublime Text for you, then bingo, you're ready.
open /Applications/Sublime\ Text\ 2.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl
You can find more (official) details about subl here: http://www.sublimetext.com/docs/2/osx_command_line.html
I've been using this technique in most of my Ruby projects lately where Ruby versions are required:
- Create
.rbenv-version
containing the target Ruby using a definition name defined in ruby-build (example below). These strings are a proper subset of RVM Ruby string names so far... - Create
.rvmrc
(withrvm --create --rvmrc "1.9.3@myapp"
) and edit theenvironment_id=
line to fetch the Ruby version from.rbenv-version
(example below).
Today I learned about another Ruby manager, rbfu, where the author is using a similar technique with .rbfu-version
.
