A SPEECH FOR THE PD JAM
- (a couple of paragraphs, nothing too big unless you want to)
- why you're donating the prize money
- your thoughts on public domain / creative commons, and the jam.
- It'd be a great little speech to have up on the page, and it'd give some pull quotes for the blogs to use.
A richer public domain means more creativity. If you're a glass-half-empty person, then you might point out the inverse is truer today. And you'd be right. Our shrinking public domain is limiting humanity's true potential.
