csrutil disable
Restart computer
In the terminal, type
sudo open /Applications/TextEdit.app /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.ManagedClient.enroll.plist
change
<key>com.apple.ManagedClient.enroll</key>
<true/>
to
<key>com.apple.ManagedClient.enroll</key>
<false/>
So that the changes take effect
As someone has already pointed out, this can happen if your OS is not installed on the default volume
Macintosh HD
. If that's the case, either you can fix the script and then run it or reach out to the owner and ask them to fix it.If you have already installed the OS on the default volume and still facing this, then to resolve this, I had to use the disk utility to mount the
Data
volume in the disk utility so it could write the patch to/Volumes/Data/
.
