HTTP Streaming (or Chunked vs Store & Forward)

HTTP Streaming (or Chunked vs Store & Forward)

The standard way of understanding the HTTP protocol is via the request reply pattern. Each HTTP transaction consists of a finitely bounded HTTP request and a finitely bounded HTTP response.

However it's also possible for both parts of an HTTP 1.1 transaction to stream their possibly infinitely bounded data. The advantages is that the sender can send data that is beyond the sender's memory limit, and the receiver can act on

Github Two-Factor Authentication Failed For HTTPS

I heard from GitHub Two-Factor Authentication](https://github.com/blog/1614-two-factor-authentication) nearly a couple of days ago when I was reading my RSS feed. I enabled it and couldn' push to any of my repositories anymore. Learn in this blog post how to fix it.

Two-Factor Authentication

"Is a process involving two stages to verify the identity of an entity trying to access services in a computer or in a network". Github solves this authentication with sending an SMS to a device which wants to push to their platform.

This is the example contents of the Rakefile, which you would use to run active record tasks without using Rails. It assumes using the same directories as rails uses: `db/migrate`, `config/database.yml`.
require 'bundler/setup'
require 'active_record'
include ActiveRecord::Tasks
db_dir = File.expand_path('../db', __FILE__)
config_dir = File.expand_path('../config', __FILE__)
DatabaseTasks.env = ENV['ENV'] || 'development'
