Fixing acpi_call kernel oops on Thinkpads

Intro

TLP, a power management utility for Thinkpads and other laptops, uses tpacpi-bat script for battery calibration and setting charge thresholds (for Thinkpads xx20 and later), which in turn uses acpi_call Linux kernel module that enables calls to ACPI methods through /proc/acpi/call. acpi_call can also be used for hybrid graphics switching and other power management tasks.

Moto G8 Power Guide to Flash and Install a custom ROM

BEWARE:
I am not a developer. I put together this guide for my future self and for others. I had help from the Moto G8 Official Telegram channel community. How to create a Bootable MacOS Recovery USB from Linux

If your Mac is out-of-order or you otherwise cannot download macOS from the App Store, you can still create a bootable OS X recovery USB, and you can use that to create an Installer USB.

The downloads used in this process are legal and freely avaliable - including disk images directly from Apple's IT support pages, and open source utilities for extracting and converting pkg, dmg, and HFS+.

Steps

1. Download and extract zip from here
2. Press Windows + x
3. Press a (Selects PowerShell (Admin))
4. Navigate to directory where fonts were extracted to (cd ${HOME}\Downloads\fonts-master\fonts-master)
5. Set Execution Policy Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned [1]
6. Press y then Enter to accept
