To make PolyMC safe, do the following:

FOR ARCH USERS:
After doing all this steps,
go to /etc/pacman.conf, uncomment IgnorePkg and add polymc (IgnorePkg=polymc)
This further blocks PolyMC updates on Arch-based distros

Prism Launcher released something y'all can use otherwise you should be fine. if you disabled the auto updating in macos. Not sure how to but ik its a thing.
