Utilities to let you easily reach frequently visited but deeply nested directories.
# Utilities for quickly accessing frequently used directories in bash.
# Usage:
# $ cd /path/to/project/src/
# $ mark code # Will create a new shortcut.
# # Becomes interactive if a shortcut already exists
# # m is an alias for mark. You can also `m code`

A snippet to automatically call virtualenvwrapper's "workon" command when entering a directory in the shell. This can be added to your .profile, .bash_profile, .bashrc, etc.
# Call virtualenvwrapper's "workon" if .venv exists. This is modified from--
# http://justinlilly.com/python/virtualenv_wrapper_helper.html
# which is linked from--

env=`cat .venv`
echo "Found .venv in directory. Calling: workon ${env}"
workon $env

A script that gives you a playground for mastering vim
" copy all this into a vim buffer, save it, then...
" source the file by typing :so %
" Now the vim buffer acts like a specialized application for mastering vim
" There are two queues, Study and Known. Depending how confident you feel
" about the item you are currently learning, you can move it down several
" positions, all the way to the end of the Study queue, or to the Known

Give network superpowers to docker

Unionize: network superpowers for your docker containers

Unionize lets you connect together docker containers in arbitrarily complex scenarios.

Note: I recommend to use https://github.com/jpetazzo/pipework instead.

  • pipework is a better name than unionize
  • it's hosted on a "real" github repo instead of a small gist :-)

Now if you want Unionize, it's still here. Just check those examples.
