Fast CouchDB setup in AWS

CouchDB is a NoSQL database for storing JSON documents. It comes with a REST API out of the box so your client applications can persist data while requiring you to write little or no server-side code. CouchDB's killer feature is its ability to easily replicate, which allows for horizontal scaling, easy backup, and for client adapters to synchronize documents. How to add an image to a gist

The repository for the assignment is public and Github does not allow the creation of private forks for public repositories.

The correct way of creating a private frok by duplicating the repo is documented here.

For this assignment the commands are:

1. Create a bare clone of the repository. (This is temporary and will be removed so just do it wherever.)
