Updated Apr 5 2019:

Vagrant tutorial

Vagrant Setup

This tutorial guides you through creating your first Vagrant project.

We start with a generic Ubuntu VM, and use the Chef provisioning tool to:

  • install packages for vim, git
  • create user accounts, as specified in included JSON config files
  • install specified user dotfiles (.bashrc, .vimrc, etc) from a git repository

Afterwards, we'll see how easy it is to package our newly provisioned VM

You appear to be creating a new IDE...
You appear to be advocating a new:
[ ] cloud-hosted [ ] locally installable [ ] web-based [ ] browser-based [ ] language-agnostic
[ ] language-specific IDE. Your IDE will not succeed. Here is why it will not succeed.
You appear to believe that:
[ ] Syntax highlighting is what makes programming difficult
[ ] Garbage collection is free
[ ] Computers have infinite memory
[ ] Nobody really needs:

Convert Ruby scripts to HTML and Markdown first i have to say that my scripts will be a little longer than ever, to be more verbose and less encrypted, so images associated with my posts will be cropped and linked to full post on Github, post will contain an HTML version and code file. this script will read ruby code and parse it and split it to…
#!/usr/bin/env ruby
# Author : Emad Elsaid (https://github.com/blazeeboy)
require 'pygmentize' # gem install pygmentize
require 'redcarpet' # gem install redcarpet
# consecutive lines of code
# should be highlighted using pygmentize
# and converter to markdown block simply
# using the markdown syntax for code
# used by github flavored markdown
