"Open Cmder Here" in context menu

"Open Cmder Here" in context menu

Edit 04/2021:

As of the lastest versions, just execute the following command .\cmder.exe /REGISTER ALL per Documentation.

Original Solution

To add an entry in the Windows Explorer context menu to open Cmder in a specific directory, paste this into a OpenCmderHere.reg file and double-click to install it.

Configure Git to use a proxy

Configure Git to use a proxy

In Brief

You may need to configure a proxy server if you're having trouble cloning or fetching from a remote repository or getting an error like unable to access '...' Couldn't resolve host '...'.

Consider something like:

# Generate Private Key
$ openssl genrsa -out server.key 2048
# Generate CSR
$ openssl req -new -out server.csr -key server.key -config openssl.cnf
# => Fill in info
# Check CSR
$ openssl req -text -noout -in server.csr
# Sign Cert
$ openssl x509 -req -days 3650 -in server.csr -signkey server.key -out server.crt -extensions v3_req -extfile openssl.cnf
