This is a guard that tracks down UIKit access on threads other than main. This snippet is taken from the commercial iOS PDF framework http://pspdfkit.com, but relicensed under MIT. Works because a lot of calls internally call setNeedsDisplay or setNeedsLayout. Won't catch everything, but it's very lightweight and usually does the job.You might n…

Simple implementation of a thread safe mutable dictionary. In most cases, you want NSCache instead, but it can be useful in situations where you want to manually control what is evicted from the cache in low memory situations.**Warning:** I only use this for setting/getting keys. Enumeration is not thread safe here and will still throw exception…

#script to use pushover for rtorrent notifications

Used for openelec [unofficial][unofficial] rtorrent addon but can be part of any rtorrent setup.

  1. Buy Pushover for [iOS][ios] or [Android][android]
  2. Create a new app, and upload a custom icon for your notifications.
  3. [Download][rbraw] or copy rtorrent-notification.rb into a new file

There's no excuse for using #!/usr/bin/env ...
test
/**
Provides the ability to verify key paths at compile time.
If "keyPath" does not exist, a compile-time error will be generated.
Example:
// Verifies "isFinished" exists on "operation".
NSString *key = SQKeyPath(operation, isFinished);
// Verifies "isFinished" exists on self.
